The Vin Santo dell’Empolese from the wine-growing region of Tuscany is a dense light yellow, golden yellow in the glass. Swirling the wine glass, this dessert wine reveals a high viscosity, which can be seen in the strong stained glass windows at the edge of the glass. This single-varietal Italian wine reveals wonderfully expressive notes of raisins, fruit loaves, dried fruit and prunes in the glass. There are also hints of black tea, cocoa bean and cinnamon.
