Del Maguey Mezcal Minero is a single village mezcal made from 100% Espadin agave. It is produced in the village of San Luis del Rio in Oaxaca, Mexico. The agave is cooked in a traditional underground oven and then crushed with a horse-drawn tahona. The mezcal is then double distilled in copper stills and bottled at 45% ABV. Del Maguey Mezcal Minero has a smoky aroma with notes of cooked agave, citrus, and herbs. On the palate, it is smooth and slightly sweet with a long, smoky finish.
