James E. Pepper 1776 100 Proof Straight Bourbon is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey made from a mash of corn, rye, and malted barley. It is aged for at least two years in new, charred oak barrels and bottled at 100 proof. The whiskey has a deep amber color and a nose of sweet caramel, toasted oak, and baking spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and smooth, with notes of vanilla, toasted oak, and baking spices. The finish is long and warm, with a hint of spice.
