The Morey-Saint-Denis Premier Cru 2022 has an intense, brilliant ruby color. On the nose, it reveals a seductive bouquet of ripe red and black fruits, notably cherry, raspberry and blackberry, supported by floral touches of violet and peony. Spicy, slightly smoky and peppery notes from barrel aging integrate harmoniously, adding depth and complexity.
On the palate, the wine offers a generous yet perfectly balanced structure. The tannins are fine and silky, offering a pleasant texture, while well-integrated acidity brings a vibrant freshness. Fruit aromas continue on the mid-palate, complemented by nuances of licorice, undergrowth and subtle limestone minerality. The finish is long and persistent, marked by an elegant saline and chalky touch inherited from the limestone terroir.
