Homefire of Sonoma knows how to stay in their lane, making Sonoma Zinfandel exclusively, churning out small production, high quality and affordable Zins. A great price for a Zinfandel based off of 62-year-old vines. The low yields of concentrated fruit are dense and dark, breaming with furry blackberries, mulberries and brambly raspberries. Oak adds cocoa powder flavors and what the winery describes as Carob notes. Black cherries and flowers are a delicate compliment to the spice and power.
