The latest release of this very popular Cabernet by Nick Goldschmidt and his middle daughter Katherine continues this close family tradition. Sourced from The Stonemason Hill Vineyard in Alexander Valley, this is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.

2019 although different from 2017 and 2018, the quality is truly outstanding, yet again. A cool start, a warm ripening season, and then a beautifully paced picking schedule- ideal indeed. This allowed for a pleasantly unhurried vintage with all wines receiving 100% complete focus without a rush.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon, hand-picked, aged in 70% French, 20% American, and 10% Hungarian oak barrels with a medium toast. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered, Vegan.

This was awarded 93 points, and a Gold Medal in the North Coast Wine Challenge. It shows the aromas of black cherry and black plum. On the palate are rich, dark fruit flavors of blackberry, plum and licorice with a smooth texture and full body.
