A skin contact Northwest Edelzwicker of sorts, a diabolical blend of 50% Gewurztraminer, 28% Pinot Gris, 12% Riesling, 5% Muscat, and 5% Pinot Blanc: Stone fruit potpourri, racy acidity with a sprinkle of molten salt!
We affectionately call this our “Gateway Orange” – the perfect first orange wine to try for classic white wine drinkers. “New Noir” has all the complexity and depth we love from a skin contact wine, without the funk, cloudiness or sediment. A “Northwest Edelzwicker” blend of Gewurztraminer, Riesling, and Pinot Gris. We love the layers of flavor and the slight grip we get on the palate.
