This sublime third batch is, like the bottles before it, inspired by Islays Traigh Bhan beach. Ardbeg Traigh Bhan masterfully performs the impossible balancing the lull and crescendo of its intense flavors. However, the story behind this rare aged liquid is what truly sets it apartA whisky resigned to the furthest reaches of the Ardbeg Warehouse, Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 Years Old Batch 3 was one of the only spirits in the Distillerys history to be bottled in the midst of a global lockdown. Having spent months on end behind closed doors, this unprecedented bottling is now ready to come out from the dark and into the light.

The nose has smoke, sea spray, and pine resin with aromas of toffee, aniseed, blossoms, citrus zest, and cayenne pepper. The palate is rich and sweet with prominent smoke, treacle toffee, aniseed, and smoked brown sugar. There are hints of nuts that linger through the smoky and spicy finish.
