Bacardi Reserva Mission Barrel Select 750ml

At Mission, we recognize that there are two types of rum fans in this world: those who like it dry or herbaceous, and those who like it soft and supple. For those of you who love the richness and roundness of Ron Zacapa, Diplomatico, weve recently received our first ever single barrel expression of Bacardi and it hits all those honeyed, caramel-laden notes that should have many of you dreaming of which cigar to pair with it.

While theres no age statement on Bacardis new private label, we were allowed to select our cask from a pool of 8 year old barrel samples, one of which ended up in todays email. Distilled at Bacardis distillery in Puerto Rico, then aged for 8 years in wood, this seamless and smooth rum practically glides over the palate, finishing sweetly with notes of molasses and cane sugar.

Given the price and the unique provenance, were encouraging all fans of supple sipping rums to give it a try in place of your usual go-to. We think cigar fans especially will be pleased.
