Distilled in 1973 and bottled at a natural cask strength of 45.2%, this barrel represents an old style of malt that’s simply no longer being produced. One of 18 bottles imported to the US of the 231 bottle cask.
Bottler’s Notes:
“This golden whisky has a tropical nose of mango, guava, honey, apple blossom and Christmas markets. The palate is sweet with notes of pineapple, figs, maraschino cherries and caramel sauce, with beeswax, almonds, and a herbal note. The finish is long, dry and satisfying with lingering sweet oak.””
