The Franz Keller estate is more than just a winery, there is a strong push for natural preservation of the landscape here. Since Franz Keller Sr. first started the winery, he always pushed for a more nature respecting approach to his winemaking style. Now 60 years later, the winery continues to produce its exceptional wines in an ecologically friendly manner including organic practices, and native cover crops.The wines made with so much care in such a unique terroir as Kaiserstuhlare mindbending.

The wines in the Franz Anton line from the Franz Keller estate are made in tribute to the founder.The grapes in these wines are sourced from old-growth vineyards around Kaiserstuhl. The idea is to create a superior blend from the top-quality grapes at the various vineyards.
