The 2019 Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru is the final vintage, as there has been a rearrangement in contracts that will see new crus in 2020. The well-defined bouquet features crushed stone, yellow flowers and a touch of apricot.
Floral and precise on the nose, the palate is thrillingly tense and saline, with notes of apple, apricot, lime and blossom. Enticing hints of honeysuckle, ginger and spice emerge with time in the glass. This offers great texture and depth of flavor but gives it some time to come together – it has great potential.
