Founded in 2003 this 7-hectare vineyard is located in the Deidesheim, Ruppertsberg Appellation in Pfaltz has been kept small and specialized by the winemaker who commits to Biodynamic farming.

In addition to his impressive Riesling holdings in the famed Hergottsacker, Reiterpfad and Maushole vineyards, Michael also farms classic Champagne varieties for his outstanding Sekt (sparkling) wines; in addition to Grauer Burgunder, Auxerrois, and Weissburgunder, which isnt a surprise given the Pfalzs geographical proximity to and influence from Alsace. His wines have great tension and minerailty along with freshness and defined fruit flavors.

On the palate, harmony between subtle fruitiness, herbal notes of lemon thyme and mint and a present mineral flavor followed by a gentle finish.Overall, elegant and multi-layered, with a lively acidity structure that gives the wine impressive freshness.
