We love the Ochota Barrels story, which began on a surf trip in late 2000 along the west coast of Mexico in a Volkswagen campervan. Taras and Amber Ochota decided to leave life on the road and return home to South Australia to create a wine that they call “beautiful and holistic”. This one is a unique blend of Pinot Meunier, Gewrztraminer, and Syrahpacked with red fruit and pepper spice. This pulls off a long, fleshy finish.

This is the best weve seen under the blazing, bright-yellow flag of this all-in, blended offering. Really sums up the quality of this vintage. The palate has a lithe, bright and juicy feel with vibrant red cherry, strawberry and pomegranate flavors. Smooth, fresh and zesty.
