Founded in 1817, the Teaninich Distillery has become a leader in whisky distilling and cutting-edge technology. Located in the Highlands of Scotland, near Teaninich Castle, the distillery overlooks the shores of the Cromarty Firth, an area known for its aquatic wildlife and designated as a Special Protection Area for conservation.
This 14-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, matured in selected European oak casks, offers a unique balance of age and flavor. Its nose reveals aromas of tangerine, poached pear, sweet confectionery, and dried herbs, while the texture evokes notes of vanilla, red apple, and mint.
The label pays homage to the legend of Kelpie, a supernatural, shape-shifting aquatic spirit or ‘water-horse’ that symbolizes the summoning of water and Scotland’s rich history of cultivating barley.
