The first wine made by Quealy was this field blend Pobblebonk (in 2006). The inspiration was Jermann Vintage Tunina (Please google this ground breaking winery located in Gorizia, Italy), whom Kat & Kevin revisited in 2006 after Kev’s pilgrimage there in 1995. The Field blend is designed to create balance, complexity and interest by elevating the great characters of each grape variety. The frogs on Pobblebonk label illustrates our decision to nurture & regenerate our farm’s environment all those years ago. Quealy’s winery vineyard is now certified organic.
