Pale gold color. Aromas of fresh grain, banana bread with raisins, toasted walnuts, and honey-drizzled pears with a supple, crisp, dryish light-to-medium body and a smooth, interesting, medium-long melon, smoked peppercorns, pimiento, marinated mushrooms, and banana nougat finish. A shape-shifting Whisky that offers a charming and delicate nose followed by a swift and assertive rush of piquant flavor on the palate.

This new blend, the brain child of our Master Distiller Kenji Watanabe, uses 100% aged malt whiskies. Once the double copper pot distillation and blending processes are complete, they age Tenjaku Pure Malt in heavily used bourbon barrels for up to six years to allow the flavors the time they need to fully mature. Tenjaku Pure Malt boasts a rich flavor with a slightly nutty taste featuring hints of green apples and herbs. The subtle finish has notes of smoky vanilla and a woody tone.
