The Hickinbotham vineyard in Clarendon is owned by the same Jackson Family that own Yangarra. Pete Fraser makes the Shiraz wines from that block for the Hickinbotham super-premium releases. The same viticultural team works the vines on both sites. This isn’t from the same sandy soils as the rest of the Yangarra Grenache wines but the quality and attention to detail is no different.This wine adds another highlight to the near peerless array of McLaren Vale Grenache produced by this amazing team. It’s pure, vibrant, densely packed with tannin.
