Cavallotto Pinner Vino Bianco Ottenuto Da Uva Nera 2020

The fairly warm season of 2020 gives a quite powerful but balanced character to our Pinner: the color is slightly ros (onions skin) despite the very soft pressing of the whole cluster. This wine seems already quite round in taste even though the acidity is still very high due to the presence of malic acid. Pinner 2020 has the typical smell and taste of citrus mixed with pear and melon scents. The finish is long and dry without bringing any warm taste because of the quite low alcohol percentage. (April 2021) Drinking Window: 2023-2028 Notes on Matching with Food: Excellent as an aperitif, with light or medium rich plates in general. Great to pair with any kind of pasta and pizza. Also good with meat dishes, excellent with seafood in general and shellfish grilled or raw. Pinner pairs well with fresh cheeses too.
